Whop Engine is sold on the Launchpad network by VJ Techlabs. How we review launches.

Early review, no score yet. Whop Engine launched on October 15, 2026. This review is based on the vendor's sales page, FAQ and JV document, plus Whop's own published fee page. We have not scored it yet. We will buy it, test it, and update this page with a hands-on score.

What is Whop Engine?

In this Whop Engine review, we cover what the app builds for you, what Whop itself charges, what the sales page leaves out, and whether the full funnel is worth it. Whop Engine is a web app from VJ Techlabs, founded by Vijay Pratap Singh, that uses AI to create a paid monthly membership and publish it on Whop. The sales page states that Whop Engine is independent and not affiliated with Whop.

Whop is a marketplace where creators sell memberships, courses, communities and software access. Whop Engine's pitch is that you can skip the build: pick a niche, and the AI writes the offer, sets the price, creates a course and a month of community posts, designs the store graphics, launches it on your Whop, submits it to Whop Discover and switches on Whop's affiliate program.

How Whop Engine works: the 3-step workflow

  1. Connect and pick

Connect your free Whop account through Whop's permission screen, then choose a niche from the list or enter your own idea.

  2. AI builds and launches

The AI creates the offer, pricing, course, community posts and visuals, then publishes them to your Whop.

  3. Get paid monthly

Members pay through Whop, affiliates can promote your product, and Content Autopilot adds new posts each week.

Whop Engine features breakdown

Vendor-stated

AI business blueprint

Generates the business name, offer, target customer, headline, description and suggested monthly price for your niche.

Vendor-stated

AI course builder

Creates a welcome course with chapters, lessons and quizzes. Course quality is what keeps members paying, so this is the key thing to test.

Vendor-stated

Community content

Writes four weeks of community posts, then Content Autopilot schedules fresh posts and lessons.

Vendor-stated

Store visuals

Creates a logo, banner and gallery images for your Whop store page.

To test

One-click launch to Whop

Publishes the store, product, course, community, chat and checkout link. We will check what lands live versus in draft.

To test

Discover and affiliate activator

Submits to Whop Discover and enables Whop's affiliate program with a swipe pack. The vendor says neither guarantees traffic.

Vendor-stated

Niche finder and safe-content filter

Two dozen ready niches, from fitness to coding, with a filter that blocks niches that break Whop's rules.

Vendor-stated

Multi-business dashboard

Run several memberships from one dashboard, with an earnings view and a commercial license.

Launch price: $14 one-time

The vendor says pricing moves to monthly after the launch.

What Whop charges you

Whop Engine's price covers the software. Selling on Whop has its own costs, which the sales page does not cover. These figures come from Whop's own fee page.

Whop seller fees
FeeWhen it appliesAmountNotes

DisputesEach chargeback$15.00Unhappy members cost more than a refund.
Affiliate commissionSales an affiliate bringsYour settingPaid to the affiliate out of each sale.

Example: a $27 per month membership

  • Direct member, domestic card: $27.00 minus $1.03 processing leaves about $25.97 per month.
  • Member brought by an affiliate at 30%: after the $8.10 affiliate commission and processing, you keep about $17.87 per month.

The affiliate example uses the 30% rate the sales page quotes as Whop's default. You can set your own rate, and higher rates attract more affiliates but cut your share.

Discover, affiliates and what the sales page admits

Read this before buying: The sales page leads with "sell once, get paid every month", but its own FAQ and disclaimer add important limits.

  • Discover is not guaranteed. The vendor's FAQ says Whop reviews every Discover submission.
  • Affiliates are not guaranteed. Turning on the affiliate program makes your product available to promote. Affiliates still choose what to promote.
  • The case studies are not Whop Engine users. The big Whop success stories on the sales page are labelled as exceptional and not typical.
  • The income chart is hypothetical. It assumes 20 new members a month at $27, which is an illustration, not a result.
  • Post-launch pricing is unclear. The FAQ says pricing moves to monthly after launch, but no amount is given, and one section mentions $97 a month.
  • Some testimonials are unfinished. At the time of our check, three testimonial slots on the sales page still showed placeholder text.

None of this means the software does not work. It means the hard part of a membership business, getting members and keeping them, is still on you.

Whop Engine OTO breakdown and pricing

The vendor's JV document lists the front-end, an order bump, and six upsells, each with a cheaper downsell. You do not need any upsell to use the core app. Inclusions for each OTO were not in the public launch materials.

How to get real results with Whop Engine

  1. Pick a niche you actually know. Members stay for expertise. Choose a topic where you can add your own lessons and answer questions.
  2. Rewrite the AI course. Use the generated course as an outline, then add your own examples, videos and specifics.
  3. Price for retention, not just signups. A lower price that members keep paying beats a high price they cancel after a month.
  4. Bring your own first members. Use your email list, social accounts or community to get the first 10 to 20 members before relying on Discover or affiliates.
  5. Watch cancellations. Use the earnings dashboard to see who leaves and when, then fix the content they leave before.

Our early verdict

Whop Engine tackles the slow part of starting a Whop membership: writing the offer, building a course, filling the community and designing the store. At $14 with a 30-day guarantee, it is an inexpensive way to get a membership built and live quickly.

The software cannot do the part that decides whether a membership earns money: getting members and keeping them. The vendor's own FAQ says Discover and affiliate promotion are not guaranteed, and every sale carries Whop and affiliate fees. It suits people with real niche knowledge or an existing audience who want a faster build. Skip the upsells until your first membership has paying members. We will update this review with a hands-on score after testing.

Whop Engine FAQ

What is Whop Engine?

Whop Engine is a web app from VJ Techlabs (founder Vijay Pratap Singh) that uses AI to build a paid membership business on Whop. According to the vendor, it creates the offer, pricing, a course, four weeks of community posts and store images, then publishes it to your Whop account, submits it to Whop Discover and turns on Whop's affiliate program.

How much does Whop Engine cost?

The sales page lists a one-time launch price of $14. Some launch calendars show $17, so confirm at checkout. The vendor's FAQ says there is no monthly fee during the launch but that pricing moves to monthly afterwards, without stating the new price.

What are the Whop Engine OTOs?

The vendor's JV document lists six upsells, each with a cheaper downsell: Profit ($47 or $37), Scale ($67 or $47), Automation ($47 or $42), DFY ($97 or $67), Traffic ($67 or $47) and Business Box ($197 or $147). There is also an order bump. None are required to use the front-end.

Do I need a Whop account?

Yes. You need a free Whop account, which you connect through Whop's own permission screen. Whop handles buyer payments, identity verification for payouts, and the payouts themselves.

What fees does Whop charge?

Whop's fee page lists card processing at 2.7% plus $0.30 per domestic transaction, with extra fees for international cards and currency conversion, and fees for each payout, such as $2.50 for next-day ACH. Affiliates you enable on Whop also take a commission from each sale they bring.

Will Whop Engine get my product on Whop Discover?

Not automatically. The vendor's own FAQ says Discover listing is not guaranteed because Whop reviews every submission. Affiliates also choose what they promote, so turning on the affiliate program does not guarantee anyone will promote you.

Is Whop Engine affiliated with Whop?

No. The sales page states that Whop Engine is independent and not affiliated with Whop. It connects to your Whop account as a third-party app.

Can I make money with Whop Engine?

The sales page shows a hypothetical chart and case studies of Whop sellers who are not Whop Engine users. The vendor's own disclaimer says it does not guarantee members, sales or income. Results depend on the quality of your offer and how you get traffic.

Is there a refund policy?

The sales page lists a 30-day money-back guarantee. Refunds are handled by the vendor and the Launchpad platform, not by LaunchReviewPro.
